How to use the classroom timer

Tap a preset (1, 2, 3, 5, 10 or 15 minutes) or type any time you need.

Pick a display: big digits, a ring, or the shrinking disk that young children can read at a glance.

Press Space or Start. Press Space again to pause, or add or take away a minute while it runs.

At zero the timer flashes and plays your chosen sound. Turn on count-up to see, in red, how far over time you went.

Big digits for older students, a ring that empties as time runs out, and a shrinking disk for children who cannot read a clock yet.
The sound you want
Choose a chime, a bell, an alarm or no sound at all. The screen flashes at zero either way, so nobody misses the end.
Count-up after zero
Optional red count-up shows how long a transition really took. Great for a class goal of beating yesterday's time.

Tests and timed writing
Set 15 minutes for a quiz or a quick write. Students can check the board instead of asking how long is left.
Centres and stations
Run 10 minutes per station. When the chime sounds, groups tidy up and rotate to the next table.
