Why we built it
Teachers juggle a timer on one tab, a name picker on another and instructions on a slide. ClassroomScreen puts all of it on one board that students can read from the back of the room, and that is ready before the bell rings.
What we care about
- Free, with nothing held back. Every widget and template is free, and your boards save automatically without a paid plan.
- Your class stays on your device. Boards, class lists and uploaded images are stored in your browser. The noise meter and doc camera process sound and video locally and never record or upload them.
- Readable for every student. Large, high-contrast widgets, the Lexend and Atkinson Hyperlegible fonts, and an OpenDyslexic option.
- Works on the screen you already have. Projectors, classroom TVs and interactive whiteboards all show the same layout.
- Bilingual from day one. The whole board works in English and Simplified Chinese.
